Our brands
One is where we write about the technology people here are actually buying. One is a retail business that runs on our own systems. Two are the software we build, sell and support.
Technology reviews · Lao
Our media arm: a Lao-language technology review page, covering the phones, gadgets and software people here are deciding between — in the language they shop in, not translated from a foreign review.
IT retail · Vientiane
Our retail arm: phones, audio, wearables and computers, sold online and in Vientiane. It is also the hardest test our own software gets — every till, stock count and purchase order in the business runs on systems we wrote.
Lao ERP for business
Double-entry accounting and light ERP for companies operating in Laos. Quotation to invoice to receipt, stock, purchasing and financial statements — in one system, in two languages.
Personal finance + management
A savings jar in your pocket. Kapook keeps your money, the people who owe you, your budgets and your to-do list in one Lao-first app for iPhone and Android.
What we do
The same team behind Lao Super Books and Kapook builds systems inside companies and government bodies across Laos.
Accounting, inventory, sales and purchasing systems shaped around how your organisation already works, rather than around a template designed elsewhere.
One codebase, both stores. Native-feeling iPhone and Android apps that stay smooth while they sync, and keep working when the signal drops.
Real Lao typography — correct line height, tone marks that are not clipped, and line breaks inserted where Lao words actually end.
We deploy, monitor and back up what we build. Databases, domains, certificates and email — set up once and looked after.
Years of spreadsheets and an old system to leave behind. We move the history across, reconcile it, and prove the totals still match.
Training your staff in Lao, and a real person to call afterwards — in the same time zone, on the same working week.
One-time codes sent over WhatsApp instead of SMS, for sign-in, password reset and approving a transaction. Delivery is confirmed, codes expire, and attempts are rate limited — the same discipline a bank would expect.
An assistant that answers your customers on WhatsApp from your data — stock, prices, order status, opening hours — not from whatever it read on the internet. A language model reads the question as it was actually typed, in Lao or English, so nobody has to work through a menu. It says when it does not know and passes the conversation to a person, rather than inventing an answer.
Announcements, reminders and offers sent to customers who opted in, through templates approved in advance. Sent from your own verified business number, with delivery and read counts you can report on.
We run Awesome ຄັກໄດ໋, a Lao-language technology review page. If you sell a product here, that is a route to the people deciding whether to buy it — a review, a comparison or a launch feature, written in Lao rather than translated into it.
How we work
A&A Innovations is a technology company in Vientiane. We publish our own systems, develop in house for organisations that need something of their own, and move business data out of spreadsheets and old systems into something that holds.
Lao Super Books and Kapook are ours end to end. The same team builds systems inside organisations that need something no product off a shelf will do.
Approvals, month end, stock counts, who signs what, and what the auditor will ask for. We have worked inside firms big enough to have all of it, so we design for the way work really moves rather than a flowchart.
Our developers have shipped in regulated environments — core banking and government tax systems — where a wrong number is not a bug report, it is a finding. That is the standard we bring to smaller systems too.
Years of Excel, a system nobody supports any more, the same customer spelled three ways. We move it, reconcile it, and prove the totals still match before you rely on it.
Both languages are built in, printed documents included. Your staff read the system in Lao; your bank or parent company reads the same numbers in English.
The company
A&A Innovations Sole Co., Ltd publishes its own products and builds systems to order inside companies and government bodies.
Our developers have delivered core banking and government tax systems, and have worked inside organisations large enough to have real approval, month-end and audit processes. Clients include a ministry, a government department, and private companies across retail, workshop and events.
Everything is designed, built, hosted and supported from Vientiane.
Questions
We are a technology company based in Vientiane, Laos. We build systems to order inside companies and government bodies; we integrate WhatsApp and Messenger for verification, automated assistants and campaigns; we move business data out of spreadsheets and legacy systems into something that holds; and we run four brands of our own — Lao Super Books, Kapook, the Pro Gadget Laos shop and the Awesome technology review page. Our developers have worked on core banking and government tax systems, and inside firms large enough to have real approval, month-end and audit processes.
Yes — in full, not partially. Lao and English are both first-class languages in everything we ship, including printed documents such as quotations, invoices and receipts. Users switch language at any time without losing their place.
Yes. The same set of journals can be reported under IFRS or under the Lao Ministry of Finance class 1–7 chart of accounts. You do not keep two sets of books — you choose which framework a report is rendered in.
Yes. Lao Super Books stores every amount in both the transaction currency and your base currency, records the exchange rate used at the time, and calculates realised and unrealised FX gain and loss for you.
Both. Many companies start with one of our products and ask us to extend it; others come to us with a problem of their own — a warehouse system, a booking platform, an internal app. We take on custom work in Laos across web and mobile.
We are in Vientiane, Laos. Support comes from the same team that wrote the software — in Lao, in your time zone, with no overseas call centre in between.
